Grass Measuring Workshop Kilkenny

The workshop will we run by the Irish Grassland Association (IGA) in conjunction with Grasstec and Agrinet. The course will be aimed at farmers who are only starting to measure or for those who want to prefect analyzing their information. The programme for the day is as follows:
1. To meet at the Farm of Tom O Halloran Callan Co Kilkenny at 10.45am sharp
2. Noel Gowen (Grasstec) will demonstrate the basics of Grass measuring followed by a farm walk on the host farm.
3. We will then have access to a computer room in Callan where Barry Lynch from AgriNet and Noel Gowen will be there to teach each individual how to use the AgriNet grass measuring programme. We will look at how to use the information you have gathered and how to get the most from your feed wedge.
Each course will only take 12 Farmers so please contact us before May 16th if you wish to attend. These courses are only open to Irish Grassland Association members and there will be a fee of 25 Euro to participate.
