Irish Grain and Feed Association
IGFA represents the interests of:

• Feed Manufacturers
• Grain Merchants


• Feed Material Importers
• Ancillary Members

The membership is a combination of independent and farmer controlled companies.

All IGFA members are encouraged to join a recognised assurance scheme in order to satisfy the tough quality standards expected by consumers and regulators. This scheme is know as IFAS (Irish Feed Assurance Scheme)and has been developed to help members comply with the Feed Hygiene Regulations that cam in to force in January 2006. IGFA along with the IFA are founder members of the Irish Grain Assurance scheme and this forum is proving pivotal in helping to raise standards in grain production and storage. The main work of the association is to be an information and lobbying voice for industry in addition to providing support and development for its assurance schemes.
