Pearse Kelly, Past President of the IGA is a Teagasc Cattle Specialist. He works closely with Teagasc advisers in the South East of the country in the area of improving incomes on beef farms. Areas of involvement include participating in cattle discussion groups, beef farm walks and seminars, promoting eProfit Monitor and working with ICBF to improve breeding in suckler herds. Improving grassland management on beef farms is one of the goals of the Teagasc Cattle Specialist team.
